Job Details

Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording. Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation). Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff. Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked. Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput. Documents care and activities per unit standards. Participates in performance improvement and required education; performs other duties as assigned. Provides direct patient care. Performs specific documentation in the patient's record. Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance.
